Outremer has put the three parts together (central part, and outside parts of both hulls). They are in the molds till the full structure is laminated inside.
They started lamination on the starboard hull.
After the gelcoat and a first mat fiberglass cloth, we are now on the long process before infusion of positioning foam and fiberglass cloth, dry in three of the 4 main moulds: central part and two side hulls.
The deck production starts a few weeks later in the process.
The construction of my Outremer 45 has just started yesterday March 31st as scheduled.
They sprayed the gelcoat yesterday in the central part of the hull and today put the first layer of matt fiber glass.
When dry, they will start putting all fiber cloth and foam, prior to the infusion process.
